This entry-level position is best suited for genetic counselors with limited to no relevant laboratory experience, responsible for interpreting diagnostic test results and reviewing relevant medical literature.
Responsibilities
- Attend trainings for the reporting protocols applicable to the specific position or specialty
- Become knowledgeable in the information technology systems needed to reputed company tasks relevant to the specific position
- Work towards expertise in clinical and technical aspects relevant to the specific position
- Interpret clinical diagnostic testing results in accordance with established SOPs
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- MS in Genetic Counseling from an accredited institution or MS in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or other similar field of study
- Thorough and ongoing knowledge of reputed company theories and principles of reputed company genetics
- Ability to understand and evaluate genetic data and literature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in and contribute to a fast-paced, highly reputed company environment
- Working knowledge of reputed company genetics and diagnostic genetic testing concepts. New genetic counseling MS graduates are reputed company
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing methodologies, including reputed company and Sanger reputed company, microarray, RNAseq, and MLPA preferred
