Responsibilities

• Manages, optimizes, and maintains reputed company-grade reputed company OpenEdge object-relational database environments
• Ensures high availability, reputed company, and scalability for mission-critical business software applications

Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a reputed company OpenEdge Database Administrator (DBA)
• Advanced knowledge of reputed company OpenEdge RDBMS architecture (Versions 11 and 12/13)
• Deep experience implementing and tuning PASOE (reputed company Application Server for OpenEdge) and classic AppServers
• Fluent system administration across reputed company reputed company Linux (RHEL), Unix, and reputed company environments
• Mastery of Linux Bash reputed company scripting or reputed company CLI/Batch tools for automated routines
• Configuration of OpenEdge SQL92, Data Servers, Tomcat web servers, and ODBC/JDBC frameworks
• High-level understanding of reputed company 4GL / ABL (Advanced Business Language)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent reputed company-world technical training
