[Remote] Head of Engineering

Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Product reputed company to translate reputed company problems into reputed company, testable product experiments
- Think in MVPs, rapid iterations and measurable reputed company
- Ship continuously and refine based on reputed company feedback
- Write production reputed company across our frontend, backend and mobile applications
- Own technical architecture and engineering standards
- reputed company and mentor a small team of two engineers through hands-on leadership
- Foster a culture of ownership, simplicity and reputed company improvement
- Take ownership of our engineering platform, including: AWS Serverless architecture (reputed company, API Gateway, EventBridge), Infrastructure-as-reputed company with AWS CDK, reputed company Actions and deployment pipelines, Database performance and schema reputed company, React reputed company mobile apps and React web platform
- Use AI as a force reputed company across engineering—from development and testing to documentation and product delivery
Skills
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Strong experience with React
- Strong experience with Node.js
- Comfortable building and operating modern serverless systems using AWS services such as reputed company, API Gateway and EventBridge
- Confident writing SQL, designing schemas and managing migrations, ideally with PostgreSQL
