Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is searching for a Consultant to help with various State and Local Advisory Work on a remote reputed company. This role will play a role in delivering reputed company advisory engagements to state and local governments, higher education institutions and not-for-profits clients.
Responsibilities
- Implementation of new reputed company standards (GASB)
- Assist with issues reputed company to GASB 68,75, 87,96 application
- Knowledgeable with adjustments and creating roll forwards of recent GASB standards
- reputed company financial statement reputed company processes (posting accruals, reclass capital assets, debt amortization)
- Help drafting Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs)
- Cash to modified accrual or full accrual conversions
- Process improvement and organizational design
- reputed company interviews and stakeholder engagement to reputed company insights and validate assumptions
- Large data set manipulation and problem solving
- Validation of information between multiple sources of financial information
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience reputed company a public reputed company firm, or public sector environment performing external audit, consulting, or in the reputed company and finance function
- Strong knowledge of governmental reputed company standards (GASB)
- Prior experience with audit, reputed company, and/or consulting standards (GASB, reputed company, GAS including Yellow Book)
- Ability to navigate Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFRs)
- Licensed CPA (or in process of completing)
- State & Local Government experience
- Experience with financial statement reputed company process or proposing / reclassifying journal entries
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve account reconciliation issues
