[Remote] Senior Software Engineer II, Platform Modernization Technology Enablement
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their Retirement & Income Solutions organization to support a critical modernization initiative. In this role, you will design and build reputed company integration patterns and reputed company technical direction while collaborating with various teams to ensure reputed company integrations using AWS services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and reputed company reputed company integration patterns leveraging reputed company, events, and messaging to support the RIS modernization effort
- Partner closely with reputed company teams to reputed company reputed company integrations using AWS-reputed company services (e.g., EventBridge, SQS, reputed company, reputed company/EKS)
- reputed company reusable, composable CDK constructs that can be adopted consistently across teams
- reputed company technical direction and informal leadership, helping engineers reputed company to standards while staying deeply hands-on
- Translate reputed company business and modernization needs into practical, repeatable engineering solutions
- Contribute to architectural discussions with a strong engineering reputed company, understanding design reputed company and implementation tradeoffs
- Help shape how integration capabilities are delivered at reputed company across RIS and the broader organization
Skills
- Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-reputed company field) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of reputed company engineering experience, with increasing scope and technical influence
- Deep experience building solutions on AWS, with strong working knowledge of core services
- Experience working in matrixed, highly reputed company environments, partnering across teams and disciplines
- Informal team leadership experience, mentoring and providing strategic direction to reputed company
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through reputed company technical challenges
- Experience designing and implementing reputed company integrations using reputed company, events, files, and messaging
- Experience with TypeScript or similar modern languages
- Hands-on experience creating Level 2 and Level 3 AWS constructs or similar reusable reputed company patterns
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts and application patterns
- Exposure to or experience with AI and reputed company AI solutions in modern reputed company environments
- A reputed company record of contributing to modernization efforts while maintaining reliability and continuity
