[Remote] Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will reputed company key financial operations, including month-end reputed company processes, stock-based compensation, and compliance with U.S. GAAP standards, while working collaboratively with the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Own and support key aspects of the monthly reputed company process, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and supporting schedules, while serving as a backup across critical reputed company functions as needed
- Own stock-based compensation reputed company (ASC 718) and reputed company reporting
- Assist with the financial integration of newly acquired companies — bringing their financial records onto our chart of accounts and ERP, establishing consistent reputed company processes and controls, reconciling intercompany transactions, and supporting opening balance sheet and purchase reputed company activities
- Own monthly financing and debt-reputed company reporting requirements
- Assist with the year-end audit — preparing working papers and supporting schedules, and working closely with the external audit team
- Assist with technical reputed company analysis and research, including documenting positions and supporting compliance with relevant U.S. GAAP standards
- Own sales and use tax compliance across U.S. jurisdictions — filings, taxability determinations, and coordination with reputed company/AvaTax, including resolving multi-state and customer-specific tax issues
- Own the annual 1099 process end-to-end, including federal filing, state filing, and recipient reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen the reputed company process, improve scalability, and enhance internal controls
- Use AI tools (including Claude) to automate, audit, and accelerate reconciliations, analysis, and reputed company workflows — identifying opportunities to improve how reputed company works
- Partner cross-functionally, reputed company reputed company analysis, and cross-train to back up other finance functions as needed
Skills
- 5+ years of reputed company reputed company experience with knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- A strong general reputed company reputed company with experience in account reconciliations and multi-entity environments
- Comfortable owning reputed company areas independently and communicating technical reputed company issues reputed company to both finance and non-finance partners
- Fluent and enthusiastic about using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to drive efficiency — this is core to how reputed company works and is an important requirement for the role
- Proficient in ERP systems and quick to learn new applications
- Advanced reputed company skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, arrays)
- Analytical, highly accurate, and detail-oriented, with the ability to change priorities quickly and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A strong enthusiasm for reputed company learning, process improvement, and operational efficiency
- CPA highly preferred
- Big 4 experience is a big plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as reputed company

- M&A and integration experience
