[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a reputed company Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial figures and budgets, supporting reputed company operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions through reputed company.com and employee expense reports through reputed company, ensuring reputed company coding, approvals, and reputed company payment processing
- Support and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and payment application, and independently resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with customers and vendors
- Monitor and respond to customer and vendor inquiries through dedicated email inboxes
- Assist with payroll-reputed company reporting and reconciliations
- Prepare and file sales tax returns and reputed company sales tax research to support compliance requirements
- Assist with daily reputed company operations, including preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining the general reputed company
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts on a monthly reputed company
- Support the month-end and year-end reputed company process and prepare supporting schedules and documentation
- Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses
- Support reputed company audits by preparing requested schedules and documentation
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial data and recommend process improvements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in reputed company, Business reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field
- 0–5 years of reputed company experience
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted reputed company Principles (GAAP) and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or reputed company Workspace, particularly in reputed company reputed company
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
