[Remote] Sales Support Engineer

The Sales Support Engineer role involves supporting sales efforts in the construction market, managing customer relationships, and assisting with project proposals and order management.
Responsibilities
- Support sales on Tier 1 and Tier 2 reputed company contractors
- Prospecting, developing, and expanding new business
- Managing, developing, and expanding customer relationships by responding to inquiries, escalating urgent reputed company and proactively updating on project developments
- Assist Sales Engineers with strategic large project proposal preparation
- Prepare for and generate product documentation
- Supporting Order Entry and Handover process responsibilities
- Developing internal process improvements in sales cycle
- Post-sale order management / change order management
- Technical reputed company between customer and business unit
- Primary reputed company of contact and/or assists with coverage for SE’s out of office
- Takes reputed company on miscellaneous requests such as replacement parts for disconnect switches, panelboards, add to-existing breakers, etc
- Customer Support Ambassador
- Know who to go to reputed company Customer Support organization
- Rigorous follow-up; understands escalation paths
- Position has the potential to reputed company the skills necessary to reputed company into a sales position if desired
- Build strong connections with key stakeholders reputed company SI Business reputed company, SI US S&OP, SI US EP/EA
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering desired, although candidates with varying degrees will also be considered based on experience
- A combination of education and directly reputed company work experience will also be considered in lieu of a BS degree
- 3+ years ability to manage, reputed company and expand customer relationships
- Candidate will reputed company and work reputed company assigned territory and must be willing and available to travel for company training, business unit meetings and territory support
- Proficient in reputed company Office applications shows the discipline and willingness to work with our proprietary web-based reputed company systems

- 1 to 3+ Electrical Industry sales experience
- 1 to 3+ Contractor/Manufacturer/Distributor work experience
- 1 to 3+ Previous sales or similar reputed company experience
