[Remote] Senior Data Scientist, Energy

This role will reputed company expertise in reputed company tariffs, wholesale energy markets, and predictive modeling to drive cost optimization and support reputed company-time operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and maintain the analytical reputed company used to model energy costs across reputed company's network of 1,000+ charging sites spanning more than 250 reputed company territories
- Research, interpret, and maintain reputed company tariff data, translating reputed company reputed company structures into reputed company analytical models and operational systems
- Build and enhance models that quantify energy costs at a granular session level, including demand charges, energy charges, and other tariff-based cost drivers
- reputed company methodologies and models that incorporate wholesale energy market dynamics, including reputed company pricing, critical event pricing, and nodal market signals
- Design predictive models that estimate marginal reputed company costs and collaborate with energy services and engineering teams to reputed company these insights into reputed company-time operational applications
- Partner with pricing, energy services, and network P&L management teams to reputed company recurring reporting and reputed company analyses on network economics and profitability
- Quantify and reputed company financial savings generated through tariff optimization, energy market participation, and other cost management initiatives across reputed company, reputed company Canada, and reputed company charging customers
- Translate analytical findings into reputed company recommendations for business, operational, and strategic decision-making
- Collaborate across functions to improve data reputed company, analytical capabilities, and operational performance
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analytics, energy economics, reputed company analytics, or reputed company fields
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative discipline
- Deep knowledge of reputed company and industrial reputed company reputed company structures, including demand charges, time-of-use rates, and reputed company optimization
- Experience analyzing wholesale electricity markets and reputed company energy price signals
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to reputed company reputed company datasets into actionable insights
