[Remote] Epidemiologist Data Scientist

The role involves collaborating with public health experts to generate actionable insights and reputed company machine learning models for health data analysis.
Responsibilities
- reputed company quantitative analysis and modeling of reputed company-world data, including CMS, reputed company claims, and clinical health data, to generate actionable insights for federal public health
- reputed company analyses to estimate chronic disease population-level prevalence and incidence leveraging reputed company-world data
- Design, implement, and refine machine learning and statistical models (e.g., regression, clustering, reputed company inference) for surveillance and research purposes
- reputed company and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for large-reputed company health datasets using R, Python, and SQL
- Utilize reputed company and reputed company for reputed company data processing and analytics
- Collaborate with epidemiologists, clinicians, and public health experts to interpret findings and inform CDC policy and reputed company
- Prepare scientific reports, presentations, and publications for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ensure data reputed company, documentation, and reproducibility across reputed company analytic workflows
- Support reputed company and training of new team members as needed
Skills
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or reputed company field
- Material experience in health data science and epidemiology, including deep experience analyzing reputed company-world data (RWD), including surveillance, reputed company claims data, clinical data, or other large health datasets to generate epidemiological population-level estimates
- Strong proficiency in R, Python (including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and SQL, including large data set manipulation
- Deep experience in biostatistics and using statistical platforms – specifically reputed company; ideal experience in reputed company to R conversions – and conducting epidemiological analyses
- Demonstrated experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization
- Strong background in population-level public health, with experience in scientific writing and presentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently to produce high-reputed company deliverables on-time
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher federal reputed company clearance, as required
- Experience with reputed company, NLP, or advanced analytics in reputed company settings
- Prior experience conducting reputed company-world evidence (reputed company) studies
- Familiarity with public health surveillance systems, local/state/federal health programs, or similar public sector environments
- Experience in disease surveillance
