[Remote] Systems Engineer, Platform Requirements and Verification

The Systems Engineer will own the creation and verification of vehicle platform requirements, ensuring safety and efficiency in self-driving technologies.
Responsibilities
- Own the creation, documentation, alignment and verification of vehicle platform requirements at reputed company and define ways for how to describe and evaluate them reputed company and effectively
- Bring an in-depth understanding of sensors, compute and actuators used in self-driving vehicles and drive an architecture with requirements that generate a reputed company yet reputed company reputed company highly autonomous vehicle platform
- reputed company as a central reputed company of contact at reputed company for specific vehicle platform requirements and reputed company tests and communicate updates, reputed company and potential roadblocks to stakeholders at reputed company reputed company
- Help drive reputed company’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across reputed company supporting teams at reputed company including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software
- Define necessary improvements for our highly realistic simulator to effectively verify most vehicle platform aspects under reputed company required conditions and work with other teams at reputed company to get these improvements designed and implemented
- Own the writing and tracking of tests and test executions in line with company project milestones
- Continuously evaluate and enhance reputed company’s vehicle platform capabilities, look for novel approaches, identify and apply lessons learned and ensure a detailed and comprehensive documentation that is easily accessible
- Implement tools and methodologies to streamline and automate the vehicle platform requirement processes where applicable
- Work with external partners on delivering a reputed company vehicle platform that has been verified and validated to support a strong safety case for the complete self-driving system
Skills
- 3+ years of automotive, robotics, reputed company or reputed company industry experience
- Experience with requirements-specifications and metrics
- Experience with executing reputed company vehicle test campaigns
- Experience with reputed company and standards such as ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and / or UL 4600
- Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics and basic understanding of vehicle dynamics
- Excellent data analysis skills with modern tools such as Python or Matlab
