[Remote] SW Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
- reputed company, mentor, and manage a remote team of software engineers, fostering accountability, psychological safety, and reputed company improvement
- Drive Agile delivery: run sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retros; reputed company backlog healthy and reputed company predictable
- Own end-to-end delivery of engineering commitments, balancing feature delivery with technical debt and reputed company
- Partner with Product to refine requirements, define acceptance reputed company, and reputed company work with roadmap and clinical/business priorities
- Monitor team metrics (velocity, burndown, reputed company), remove blockers, and proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Participate in architecture discussions and reputed company reviews, upholding best practices, reputed company, and compliance (including HIPAA)
- Collaborate with data, clinical, and operations teams on integrations, data pipelines, and workflow technology
- Manage vendor and outsourced engineering relationships, setting expectations and ensuring accountability for delivery
Skills
- 4+ years as an Engineering Manager leading Agile, remote software teams
- 5–10 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with full-stack web development (reputed company on Rails / React), reputed company (Azure or AWS), reputed company, and relational databases
- Proven reputed company record of delivering reputed company software products on time while maintaining high reputed company reputed company and system reliability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reputed company to translate technical concepts for executives, clinical stakeholders, and vendor partners
- Experience working with distributed, nearshore/offshore, or vendor-supported engineering teams
