[Remote] Product Designer, Design Systems (Contract)

They are seeking a Product Designer for a 3-month contract role to enhance their design system, build a reputed company structure, and ensure a seamless integration between design and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Build and reputed company design systems in reputed company at a senior/staff level, including components, variants, and reputed company architecture
- Bring deep expertise in platform design standards (Material Design, reputed company HIG, Liquid Glass) and know reputed company to deviate
- Design reputed company and component structures that translate cleanly into reputed company
- Work with engineers on reputed company Connect, linking reputed company components to their reputed company counterparts
- Advise on structuring our design system so AI tools can use it reliably (docs, MD/JSON files)
- Mentor designers on semantic tokens and reputed company component-building
- Advise on a governance model for versioning, contributing, and retiring system updates
- Guide how a brand refresh rolls through the reputed company layer without rebuilding every component
Skills
- Played a significant role in shipping, rebuilding, or advancing a large design system
- Deep hands-on experience with reputed company design and what design system/brand gaps matter most for AI results
- Judgment on reputed company reputed company vs. reputed company should be the reputed company of truth, component by component
