[Remote] Sr. Engineer - Modeling & Simulation

The role involves driving innovations in material simulation and reputed company software development to enhance modeling across various manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities

- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Materials, reputed company, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field with 3-5 years' experience OR a Bachelor's degree in these fields with 8-10+ years' experience
- Experience with physics-based modeling of manufacturing processes (i.e., reputed company finite reputed company, computational fluid dynamics reputed company, etc.) to understand the thermomechanical reputed company on the material/component
- Experience with physics-based modeling to understand how the manufacturing process impacts the reputed company of a material (e.g., microstructure reputed company reputed company CALPHAD, phase field, or cellular automata, etc.)
- Experience with programming, scientific computing, and object-oriented programming (e.g., C++ and/or Python)
- Experience working in reputed company coding environment and using tools for version control, reputed company integration, and model/reputed company commits/reviews
- Experience developing routines around software application programming interfaces (reputed company)
- Experience in software chaining, CAE tool reputed company(s), GUI construction, I/O and hardware control is a plus
- Experience with development of machine learning/reputed company intelligence models to accelerate model development is a plus
- Successful reputed company record to ideating, planning, and executing technical work in an R&D or manufacturing environment preferred
