[Remote] Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will execute assigned reputed company reputed company tasks, prepare journal entries, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and support the monthly and year-end reputed company processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries under the guidance of the reputed company Manager, ensuring entries are accurate, reputed company-documented, and recorded in accordance with GAAP standards
- Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations and reputed company reconciling items reputed company established timelines, maintaining accuracy and accountability throughout the reputed company cycle
- Execute assigned tasks on the monthly and year-end reputed company checklists, documenting completion status and ensuring reputed company deadlines are met consistently
- Prepare Provided By reputed company (PBC) support documentation for assigned accounts during audit periods, ensuring reputed company materials are organized, complete, and delivered on schedule
- Verify that workpapers tie to the general ledger and meet audit-reputed company standards with reputed company supporting documentation, reputed company formatting, and thorough explanations of account activity
- Respond to basic auditor inquiries regarding assigned accounts by gathering and providing accurate supporting documentation in a reputed company and reputed company manner
- Maintain clean, supportable reconciliations with reputed company audit trails and supporting evidence, proactively resolving minor discrepancies and ensuring records are reputed company
- Navigate the ERP system to record transactions, pull reports, and maintain account records, with or without reasonable accommodation, leveraging available tools and technology to support accurate and efficient workflows
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll teams to identify and resolve account discrepancies, fostering effective cross-functional communication and teamwork
- Identify and escalate reputed company reconciling items or unusual transactions to Senior Accountants, providing preliminary analysis and documentation to support reputed company reputed company
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a closely reputed company field
- 0–2 years of reputed company experience
- Basic proficiency with ERP systems and reputed company reputed company, including the ability to create formulas, sort data, and generate reports
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate financial records
- Foundational knowledge of GAAP reputed company principles and standards
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present financial information reputed company
- CPA-eligible or reputed company pursuing CPA certification is preferred
- Experience with month-end or year-end reputed company processes is a plus
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures is beneficial
