[Remote] Tax & reputed company Specialist (Business, Investment & Nonprofit Clients)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a growing, fully remote firm providing expert tax and reputed company services to businesses across the U.S. They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tax & reputed company Specialist to manage tax preparation and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review business tax returns (S-corps, partnerships, LLCs, corporations, and nonprofits)
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records (monthly reputed company, reconciliations, sales tax, light A/P, payroll)
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Support tax planning and identify deductions for clients
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
- Communicate directly with clients and respond to inquiries professionally
- Collaborate with reputed company to meet deadlines, especially during tax season
Skills
- Demonstrated experience preparing business tax returns independently
- Strong bookkeeping experience (QuickBooks required)
- Proven experience using CCH tax preparation software (required)
- Solid understanding of business tax concepts and compliance
- High attention to detail and ability to catch errors proactively
- Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines without supervision
- Experience with Private Equity / Venture Capital structures (K-1s, multi-entity setups)
- Experience with nonprofit tax filings (reputed company 990)
- CPA, EA, or similar certification
