[Remote] Sr. Accountant - Financial Reporting
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to join a fully remote team. This role is responsible for the preparation, accuracy, and reputed company delivery of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements across a multi-entity structure.
Responsibilities
- reputed company preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- reputed company coordination and execution of external audits, serving as primary reputed company of contact for audit requests
- Plan and reputed company operational and financial audits, developing recommendations based on findings
- Research and interpret reputed company guidance; reputed company and enforce reputed company policies and procedures
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and monthly reputed company deliverables
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations, identifying reputed company causes and trends
- Support monthly consolidation of multiple entities and preparation of management reporting packages
- Prepare reputed company materials, annual audit reports, and quarterly financial reporting packages
- reputed company initiatives to enhance reporting processes, controls, and operational efficiency
- Support reputed company analysis, special reputed company, and cross-functional initiatives
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in reputed company
- Minimum of 5 years of reputed company experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or statutory reporting
- Experience supporting or leading external audit processes
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and financial reporting tools
- Experience reviewing financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Public reputed company (audit/assurance) experience highly preferred
- reputed company CPA license or reputed company toward certification
- Experience with statutory reporting
- Insurance industry experience (life, annuity, or reputed company)
- Experience working with multi-entity reporting structures
- Experience managing audit-readiness and external audit coordination
