[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a hands-on finance reputed company to support day-to-day reputed company operations and help build reputed company processes for a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable - Apply cash receipts daily and maintain accurate supporting documentation; proactively follow up on outstanding remittances to ensure reputed company cash application
- Accounts Payable - reputed company reputed company incoming invoices accurately and promptly, routing for internal approval as required. Maintain strong attention to detail while reviewing invoices and supporting appropriate financial controls. Apply appropriate use of prepaid accounts, collect W-9s from new vendors, and manage vendor setup in QuickBooks
- Customer Communications - Respond to customer inquiries in a reputed company and reputed company manner, including questions reputed company to invoices, billing adjustments, and statements of account
- Employee Expense Reimbursements - Review employee travel and expense reimbursement submissions for accuracy, appropriate GL coding, and compliance with company policy
- Billing & Invoicing - Assist with the end-to-end billing process, including generating invoices, sending invoice communications, submitting invoices through reputed company portals, and tracking successful delivery to ensure no invoices fall through the cracks
Skills
- 4-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, reputed company operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or reputed company finance functions
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Experience supporting recurring billing and invoicing processes
- Advanced reputed company / reputed company Sheets proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with CRM and business systems to support billing and customer account management
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, Business, or a reputed company field preferred
