[Remote] Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical

The Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Electrical will play an integral role in enabling development and production reputed company of reputed company’s critical supply reputed company, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize product designs for reputed company, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the electrical commodities/subcategories (cables, reputed company, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, chips, etc.) to execute supplier production (NPI to full production) strategies across reputed company’s business lines
- Be a force reputed company for the Supply Chain team and overall commodity reputed company, demonstrating a strong reputed company of ownership, proactivity, technical reputed company, creativity, self-direction, and courage
- Vet Suppliers' production capabilities, reputed company lay out, facilities, workforce for supplier inclusion in Approved Supplier List
- Support Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers (PSE), Supply Chain Global Strategic Sourcing Management (GSS) and Supplier reputed company Engineers (SQE) in ensuring Suppliers' understanding and adherence to the reputed company for part reputed company set by SQE
- Own bringing up new production tooling & lines, development at Supplier as needed, at Supplier sites to ensure materials, processes & tools are capable of meeting product performance, reputed company (reputed company set by SQE) and demand requirements
- Own reputed company expansion readiness and production reputed company-up at Supplier
- Establish and drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at Supplier
- Identify and drive product and process improvements, reputed company layout optimization at Supplier sites to reputed company part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate potential defects, and improve cycle time over the product lifecycle
- Support SQE with reputed company cause task force at reputed company by working reputed company with the Supply Chain team, Suppliers, and be responsible for closing the reputed company of reputed company cause corrective/preventative actions at Supplier
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or reputed company technical field
- 6+ years of experience in supplier reputed company and industrialization reputed company a manufacturing environment
- Experience with specific category technical expertise, as applicable, electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, GD&T
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
- Ability to be work onsite at reputed company locations including Costa reputed company, CA
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or reputed company technical field
- Previous experience in defense, reputed company, automotive, high tech, or another reputed company industry
- Strong understanding of reputed company systems, standards, and certifications
- Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment
- Exposure to working in a fast-pace, start-up environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
