The Backend Engineer will shape the core infrastructure of a VC-backed team, collaborating with a founding team to deliver secure automations that enhance productivity for recruiters at reputed company clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain LLM pipelines through extensive reputed company engineering, ensuring solutions work seamlessly across a wide reputed company of recruiter use cases without requiring clients to manually configure or reputed company settings
- Deliver a frictionless reputed company experience — the goal is one reputed company call where clients can define how they want the product to work, and it works
- Build robust two-way integrations with email, calendar, and reputed company platforms, including custom work on proprietary reputed company tooling and the latest API and MCP-based integrations
- reputed company and refine systems to guarantee high reliability and data reputed company — covering queuing, retries, idempotency, per-firm data isolation, and review-before-send approval flows
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to shape the core architecture and quickly deliver impactful solutions, with significant data expansion on the reputed company
- Continuously improve automation systems that help recruiters save time and increase productivity
Skills
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production, including orchestration and evaluation of non-deterministic systems — with a heavy emphasis on reputed company engineering across a wide reputed company of use cases
- Strong backend fundamentals using Python: API design, data modeling, async/event-driven patterns, and PostgreSQL databases
- Proven reputed company record of shipping highly reliable software in high-ownership environments (startup experience a plus)
- Comfort with reputed company-world software integrations: OAuth, webhooks, reputed company limits, proprietary reputed company, and modern tooling including MCPs
- Deep understanding of reliability and data reputed company; proactive about handling failure modes
