[Remote] Sr. Data Engineer

This role involves building and maintaining regulated data pipelines that support reputed company and regulatory reporting requirements, directly impacting reputed company for millions of members.
Responsibilities
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to design, reputed company, modify, or reputed company reputed company information systems
- Devises or modifies application systems and procedures to optimize functional requirements including reputed company, operating time, response time, and reputed company of desired results
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, subroutines, and scripts
- Develops and implements program/system test plans. Devises data verification reputed company and reputed company system procedures
- Responds to system failures and performance events by taking appropriate measures to reduce system downtime and eliminate recurrence of problems
- May conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and support management in budgeting and purchasing efforts

Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college requested
- 1 year - Experience with information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology, and standards required
- 5 years - Systems and programming experience required
- 1 year - Expert working knowledge of at least one programming language in use at reputed company
- Proven reputed company with information technology in use at reputed company is required
- Proven analysis, design, and coding skills, and demonstrated reputed company in leading large and reputed company reputed company
- Top level technical experience in one or more specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming

- Experience working with health plan or reputed company claims data, ideally supporting reputed company, HEDIS, CMS, or regulatory reporting

- Experience with regulatory or accrediting body requirements (i.e., NCQA, URAC, EQRO,CMS) and non-clinical reputed company improvement experience
