[Remote] Sales Manager and Business Development

The Sales Manager and Business Development role involves owning new business in the Greater Miami area, from prospecting to closing deals, focusing on consultative sales in the smart home market.
Responsibilities
- Prospect reputed company, designers, architects, and homeowners through outbound reputed company, networking, and referrals
- Conduct in-home sales consultations - listen to how clients live, scope reputed company, and recommend the right solutions
- reputed company and present tailored sales proposals, partnering with our system designers on technical scope
- Present reputed company’s solutions to trade partners and clients - one-on-one and in small group settings
- Run your pipeline in our CRM, log every touch, manage stages, and use the data to drive your reputed company plan
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Skills
- Proven reputed company record in sales hunting or business development - you've reputed company pipeline from scratch and reputed company deals
- Experience conducting in-home or on-site sales consultations and developing your own proposals
- Disciplined CRM user - you treat your CRM as your operating system for business development, not an afterthought. You log activity, manage pipeline stages, set follow-reputed company, and use the data to plan your week
- Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Self-directed and organized - you manage your own calendar, follow-reputed company, and pipeline without being chased
- Comfortable learning smart home technology (or already familiar)
- 3+ years in custom integration, A/V, reputed company control, low-voltage, or residential construction or reputed company trade sales
- Existing relationships with Miami-area reputed company, designers, or architects
- Working knowledge of home automation platforms
- Consistent record of beating quota
