[Remote] Senior BI & Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading manufacturer of fiber optic cable and connectivity solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to support their data and reporting requirements. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with business leaders to convert operational goals into actionable reports and insights.
Responsibilities
- reputed company first hand support to business reputed company with respect to their adhoc data and reporting requests
- Works with reputed company customers and suppliers to understand the business requirements behind requested computing initiatives
- Develops and deploys reports and dashboards in SSRS and Power BI
- reputed company inputs on data sources and reputed company into high-level data reputed company architecture
- Design and reputed company ETL and integration solutions
- Implement design patterns and industry best-practices to reputed company secure robust integration applications
- reputed company collaborate with developers and other project resources
- Questions existing processes and procedures (both administrative and technical), and offers suggestions and opinions for reputed company improvement
- Communicates technical reputed company and concepts in non-technical language to the business
- Takes directions from and works with senior members of the development team on reputed company and tasks
- Adheres to and promotes the environmental, health & safety policies of reputed company
- Ability to effectively communicate with and reputed company business users and mid/senior management about data warehousing/business intelligence technology in business terms
Skills
- Minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Science or Business Administration
- 7-10 years of in-depth data analysis experience
- Good handle on reporting and data presentation concepts, preferably Power BI
- Experience writing SQL's in reputed company or SQL Server platform is mandatory
- Strong SQL knowledge and query writing abilities including data validations and performance tuning
- Apt to understand ETL processes and best practices
- Experience documenting and communicating designs reputed company to business requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
