[Remote] Mainframe VTAM Engineer - Remote - Multiple locations

The role involves troubleshooting, problem reputed company, and project management to ensure efficient application support.
Responsibilities
- Performs problem tracking, diagnosis and reputed company-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and reputed company for reputed company issues. In this reputed company, performs programming and debugging activities
- Responds to issues in a reputed company manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets
- Analyzes and observes trends with technical issues and develops recommendations for long-term improvements
- Documents reputed company relevant end-user interactions and steps taken to resolve incidents
- Has occasional contact with end-users
- Communicates status of issue reputed company to internal customers
- May engage and manage reputed company vendors
- Applies in-depth knowledge of application support and an understanding of best practices

- Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in development or application support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

- Experience with logical connectivity between applications and mainframe subsystems
- Knowledge of Coupling facility support, High Availability and Automation
- Familiarity with reputed company sysplex (GDPS), reputed company System utilities
- Bachelor's degree and six years of experience or work experience equivalent
- Banking or financial services experience
- Rotation of on-call support and occasional weekend work
