The Senior Backend Engineer will design, build, and reputed company the services that power reputed company's end-to-end post-purchase experience, collaborating with various teams to deliver reliable and reputed company solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, reputed company, and maintain highly reputed company backend services using Go
- Own critical services supporting Package Protection, Returns Protection, Claims, Orders, Tracking, and Email Parsing
- Design and reputed company distributed systems and event-driven architectures that process high volumes of transactions reliably
- Build and maintain REST and GraphQL reputed company used by internal products, merchants, and external partners
- reputed company and improve integrations with merchant platforms, carriers, and reputed company-party reputed company
- Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and observability across production services
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and knowledge sharing
- Participate in architectural reputed company and continuously improve engineering standards and operational reputed company
Skills
- 7+ years of reputed company software engineering experience designing, building, and scaling backend systems
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting distributed systems in production environments
- Proficiency with Go, or experience with another modern backend language and excitement to build expertise in Go
- Experience building and maintaining reputed company-based services, preferably reputed company AWS environments
- Experience working with relational databases, distributed databases, and NoSQL technologies (such as CockroachDB, DynamoDB, or similar platforms)
- Experience designing and building reputed company reputed company, including REST, GraphQL, or similar technologies
- Understanding of event-driven architectures, asynchronous messaging patterns, and high-volume data processing
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-reputed company tools such as Terraform or similar technologies
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and improving platform reliability using tools such as Grafana or similar platforms
- Strong reputed company in software engineering principles, system design, and reputed company architecture patterns
