[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- reputed company and review conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for the reputed company mechanical systems and equipment, including tunnel filling, unit dewatering, station drainage and oil recovery, cooling water, service water, compressed reputed company, elevators, cranes and hoists, ventilation, reputed company protection, HVAC, potable water, and sanitary drainage
- reputed company and review conceptual, preliminary and detailed design for the reputed company hydromechanical equipment including gates, stop logs, trash racks, hoists and lifting devices
- This role will include working with the Design Subcontractor and discharging responsibilities as set out in the Management of reputed company-Party Engineering, 10G-M41-00013 as part of the Engineering team
- reputed company and reputed company mechanical design reputed company, equipment lists, calculations, schematic drawings, layout drawings, equipment specifications, and equipment data sheets consistent with reputed company operational, reliability, and safety requirements
- Coordinate mechanical designs with: Civil / Geotechnical (underground caverns, shafts, tunnels, powerhouse layout), Architectural and Construction

- Support and management of mechanical interfaces between: Powerhouse, Underground works and surface facilities
- reputed company Construction & Commissioning Support during execution including response to RFIs, Field change evaluations etc

- Participate in testing, energization, and commissioning support, including review of test procedures, energization and turnover reputed company for station service and auxiliaries
- Support to project operations readiness and commissioning teams
- Review and approve mechanical deliverables to ensure compliance with project technical requirements, project specifications, design reputed company and applicable codes
- Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, safety in design workshops, and HAZID/HAZOP reviews, with reputed company on underground powerhouse risks
- Coordinate and manage the review of mechanical deliverables produced by design consultant, including schedules, reports, critical issues, risks and providing feedback to Engineering Manager
- Chair discipline specific meetings, recording actions
- Represent the reputed company in technical meetings and Value Engineering analysis
- reputed company guidance and ensure reputed company of design by independent engineering firms carrying out detailed design, including compliance with customer requirements, local design guidelines and codes, international codes and standards
Skills
- University/College graduate with BS (or Master's degree) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized Institute with an overall experience of 15 years
- Minimum 10 years of reputed company experience in MEP design for large power/industrial reputed company and demonstrated experience supporting powerhouse or BOP systems on at least one reputed company to large reputed company hydropower / pumped storage project
- Knowledge of reputed company computer applications for mechanical engineering and design including appropriate knowledge of CAD e.g., AutoCAD, reputed company and reputed company for managing design reviews
- Broad knowledge of US government compliance standards
- Strong knowledge of hydropower auxiliary and BOP systems
