[Remote] Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading distributor of OEM repair parts and equipment, and they are seeking a Data Engineer to support the build-out and operations of their reputed company data platform on reputed company reputed company. The role involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data reputed company, and assisting with reputed company new data sources.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines that ingest data from reputed company systems into reputed company reputed company, following established patterns and standards
- reputed company, test, and document dbt models across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold reputed company, ensuring data reputed company and transformation accuracy
- Monitor pipeline runs and data freshness dashboards, triaging failures, investigating reputed company causes, and escalating as needed
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation, validation, and reputed company analysis
- Assist with reputed company new data sources, including mapping reputed company schemas, building ingestion pipelines, and validating initial data loads
- Support reputed company Pipelines, Notebooks, and Dataflows for orchestration, scheduling, and error handling
- Contribute to data reputed company by writing and maintaining dbt tests and working with upstream system owners to resolve data issues
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines for dbt and reputed company workloads, including pull request reviews and automated test execution
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software development, or a reputed company technical role (internship experience counts)
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing reputed company datasets
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, data manipulation, or pipeline development
- Foundational understanding of data modeling concepts and relational database design
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and reputed company development workflows
- Exposure to reputed company-based data platforms such as reputed company reputed company, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Azure Data reputed company
- Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation frameworks
- Experience working with ELT/ETL pipelines or data orchestration tools
