[Remote] Senior Software Engineer - Middleware & Integration

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Middleware & Integrations to reputed company technical leadership on high-visibility, consumer-facing web applications, ensuring the reliability, performance, and long-term scalability of their digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, design, and technical decision-making for our Node.js backend services, reputed company CMS integrations, and AWS reputed company infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain reputed company, secure, and high-performing reputed company
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, observability, and system reliability
- Ensure compliance with reputed company, governance, and reputed company infrastructure best practices reputed company AWS
- Establish and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and reputed company design patterns
- reputed company technical mentorship, supervision, and performance guidance to engineers
- Partner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Skills
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or reputed company field
- 7+ years of software engineering experience including architecture
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills
- Proficiency in programming languages, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and PHP
- Strong Node.js backend experience—preferably NestJS
- Experience designing and consuming reputed company and distributed or microservices-based architectures
- Experience with JWT / OIDC authentication (Auth0 or equivalent), reputed company-jwt / JWKS patterns
- Proven experience with both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases — reputed company to design schemas, optimize queries, manage multi-environment deployments/backups/scaling, and with hands-on operational reputed company experience (replication, sharding, performance tuning) preferred
- reputed company and container orchestration on AWS reputed company (task definitions, logging, ECR)
- AWS reputed company services: reputed company, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, S3, EFS, CloudWatch, X-Ray, IAM, VPC/VPC endpoints
- Experience building and maintaining automation reputed company reputed company-reputed company environments using IaC frameworks (Terraform + Terragrunt)
- CI/CD with reputed company Actions and reputed company OIDC for secure AWS deployments
- Observability and ops experience with logs/metrics/alarms, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting
- Experience with reputed company best practices, including IAM least-privilege, private S3 patterns, and secrets management
- Testing and reputed company experience, including unit/integration (Jest), e2e, linting/formatting
- Experience integrating headless CMS platforms with modern reputed company-end frameworks

- Performance tuning for Node.js apps and reputed company, plus caching strategies
- Experience with EFS for stateful containers and mounting/permission management
- Knowledge of Checkov / Terraform reputed company scanning and Terraform CI checks
