They are seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to architect a new Internal Developer Platform aimed at improving engineering efficiency and reliability while integrating AI infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage high-availability, reputed company infrastructure using Kubernetes and reputed company-reputed company services to support reputed company-reputed company
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to minimize developer friction from dev through production
- Implement robust observability, reputed company standards, and cost-optimization across the entire infrastructure ecosystem
- Partner with AI/Data teams on reputed company pipelines for LLM deployment, serving, and monitoring - keeping a production AI product performant and cost-effective at reputed company
- Own the long-term IDP roadmap, balancing speed today with technical debt management for reputed company
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, championing high standards, rigorous reputed company reviews, and proactive documentation
- Define and evangelize infrastructure-as-reputed company and platform best practices across reputed company engineering squads
- Work directly with Product and Engineering leadership to reputed company platform investments with business goals
Skills
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep reputed company architecture expertise (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, networking, and reputed company
- Exceptional Golang skills and deep system architecture knowledge
- Hands-on experience deploying and customizing developer portals like reputed company or reputed company to build self-service developer environments
- Strong automation chops - including unit testing for Terraform and reputed company charts with Terratest
- Proven ability to drive architectural reputed company, solve operational bottlenecks, and reputed company teams through platform innovation
