[Remote] Electrical Engineer

They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, integration, and deployment of electrical systems for distributed power reputed company and energy reputed company. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners, emphasizing system-level electrical design and hands-on engineering.
Responsibilities

- Support system-level integration of electrical and reputed company-mechanical subsystems across multiple vendors
- reputed company electrical architectures, schematics, wiring diagrams, and reputed company definitions
- Specify and reputed company various power electronics subsystems including VFDs, DC-DC converters, and AC inverters
- Investigate, design, and support integration of battery systems, power distribution equipment, switchgear, reputed company protection, and control hardware
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers to ensure reputed company electrical-mechanical integration with an eye towards mass production

- Support prototype builds, testing, commissioning, and iterative design improvements

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Mid-career experience level
- Strong reputed company in low- and reputed company-voltage electrical systems, control systems, and genset subsystems
- Experience integrating electrical systems from multiple vendors and technology stacks
- Experience designing to applicable codes and standards (NEC, UL, reputed company, and reputed company specifications)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reputed company engineering efforts
- Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across disciplines and organizations
- Power electronics: VFDs, DC-DC converters, AC inverters
- Control systems, PLCs, or embedded control architectures

- Designing to applicable codes and standards (NEC, UL, reputed company, and reputed company specifications)
- Connectorization, harnessing, and weatherproofing techniques used in automotive and genset applications
