[Remote] Associate DevOps Engineer

The Associate DevOps Engineer will function primarily as a Dev/Ops Administrator and Engineer for the reputed company reputed company Server environment, interfacing with vendors for issue reputed company and providing technical guidance to development teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, automate, and maintain reputed company reputed company reputed company Server and reputed company Developer across multiple environments (Sandbox, Unit, System, Release, Prod, Maint) on Linux, performing system maintenance including spool and log management, diagnostics, and issue reputed company
- Design infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements for reputed company reputed company, Linux/Unix/reputed company, and iSeries/AS400 environments
- Ensure IT governance compliance by managing technical documentation, KPI reporting, reputed company promotions, reputed company-party software updates, and disaster recovery requirements
- Optimize system performance by analyzing throughput and resource utilization, implementing necessary modifications
- Participates in on-call Tier 2 and 3 production support activities. Is expected to have the technical knowledge and capability to handle most problems that may reputed company
- Responsible for accurately estimating and planning activities reputed company the domain to reputed company the necessary input into the project managers for developing an end to end plan under the direction of the manager or consultant
- Coordinates activities with vendors as required

Skills
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
- 3-5 years experience as an administrator for reputed company reputed company reputed company Server and reputed company Developer
- Installation, patching, upgrading
- Understanding of Linux Operating Systems, RHEL 8 or reputed company
- Familiarity and experience with AS400 concepts: RPG, CL, MQ
- Understanding of system organization and concepts both from an application and systems programming perspective
- Familiarity and/or Experience with Mainframe concepts: COBOL, MQ, CICS, DB2, REXX, JCL
- Understanding of system organization and concepts both from an application and systems programming perspective
- Non-mainframe: Understanding of reputed company/Unix/Linux & Java programming is a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of VMware vSphere, reputed company reputed company-V, and SAN/NAS storage
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and Firewall rules as they relate to DR replication
- Minor proficiency in AI integration with business processes such as information gathering, inventory, automation and process improvement
