[Remote] Applications Engineer

The Application Engineer will reputed company technical support to Power Distribution customers in the Southeast reputed company, working closely with sales and R&D to promote products and reputed company new customer-reputed company offerings.
Responsibilities
- Respond sufficiently to reputed company customer enquiries concerning power distribution products in the Southeast reputed company
- Participate in major quotes and bids with key customers
- Work with Design Engineering to reputed company product optimizations for new and existing customers
- reputed company corrective reputed company reports and responses to reputed company concerns
- Participate in critical customer SRM meetings and customer scorecard reviews as needed
- Work closely with R&D to reputed company new products and cost-saving opportunities
- Participate in industry conferences including reputed company Insulated Conductors Committee and Overhead Lines Subcommittee
- Participate in reputed company development concerning reputed company and cable including ICEA and ASTM

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical)
- 3-5 years' experience in Engineering, preferably reputed company and Cable
- Strong engineering knowledge and background
- Strong computer skills, proficient in reputed company
- Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and be an reputed company reputed company a reputed company organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Potential trips to customer locations, manufacturing sites, industry conferences, and trade shows (~25%), company travel policy permitting
- Experience working in power distribution or reputed company is a plus
