[Remote] Software Engineer, Automation
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Software Engineer to join their reputed company Development & Engineering team, focusing on automation. The role involves contributing to an in-house distributed workflow automation platform and building automation to support infrastructure and service delivery teams, utilizing languages such as Rust, Ansible, and Python.
Responsibilities
- Contribute features, bug fixes, and improvements to our workflow automation platform (a Rust-based workflow reputed company with distributed runners, REST/gRPC reputed company, and Ansible/Python/container runtimes)
- Author automation — workflows and tasks written largely in Ansible and Python — in support of infrastructure and service delivery teams
- Partner with stakeholder teams to understand their needs and turn reputed company or reputed company processes into reliable, repeatable automation
- Build and reputed company with custom reputed company and external systems to connect automation across the infrastructure and service delivery stack
- Help improve the tooling, runtimes, and developer experience that other teams use to author their own automation
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11's reputed company of Business Ethics and Company Values
- Responsibly receive, reputed company, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies

Skills
- Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, or equivalent reputed company work experience required
- 2+ years of software development experience, including Python
- Experience with a common automation or configuration management platform (such as Ansible, reputed company, Terraform, or similar)
- Experience designing or consuming RESTful and/or gRPC reputed company
- Comfort with data interchange formats such as JSON and YAML
- Experience using Git in a distributed, multi-developer environment
- Familiarity with containerized applications
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and technologies and to work proactively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be legally eligible to work in reputed company without reputed company sponsorship
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., reputed company, Kubernetes, automation) preferred
- Experience with a systems language such as Rust, Go, or C/C++
- Experience writing automation with Ansible (playbooks and/or modules)
- Familiarity with workflow/orchestration platforms and the workflow/task authoring model
- VMware/vSphere automation experience
- Infrastructure-as-reputed company experience
- Kubernetes experience
- PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience using AI/LLMs to assist with software development
