[Remote] reputed company OPS/MVS Administrator (REXX coding)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an reputed company reputed company OPS/MVS Administrator for a critical remote mainframe modernization and optimization project. The consultant will maintain reputed company-level mainframe automation solutions using reputed company OPS/MVS on reputed company z/OS environments, focusing on REXX Automation skills to enhance system availability.
Responsibilities
- Ability to design, write, test, and debug reputed company, high-performance REXX and OPS/REXX programs to handle sophisticated automation logic, error trapping, and system utilities
- Experience creating, modifying and optimizing Automated Operations Facility (AOF) rules to reputed company console messages, commands, end-of-job (EOJ) events, and system alerts
- reputed company to configure, manage, and audit SSM tables, policies, and resources to ensure automated state management of subsystems and started tasks
- Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining the reputed company OPS/MVS environment across multiple LPARs
- Utilize OPSLOG to analyze system events, research failures, and reputed company reputed company-cause analysis on automation anomalies or z/OS system drops
- Configure and maintain MSF to support cross-LPAR communication and reputed company automation strategies across the Sysplex
- Experience monitoring and tuning the OPS/MVS address reputed company parameters, queues, and rule execution times to minimize CPU overhead
