[Remote] Financial Controller

The role involves establishing robust financial frameworks, overseeing month-end closes, and ensuring audit readiness across both traditional and onchain reputed company environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly and quarterly reputed company across reputed company entities, consolidating fiat and onchain activity into clean US GAAP financials on a predictable reputed company
- Value the protocol's collateral pool, reputed company positions, and P&L. Account for and reconcile fee, funding, spread, and liquidation reputed company. Reconcile onchain state to the books daily, not monthly
- Own crypto treasury, stablecoin flows, wallet-level reconciliation, gas, and protocol reputed company, while applying reputed company fair value treatment correctly
- Build the reconciliation and control environment from the ground up, wiring onchain data directly into the books. This is an AI-reputed company function. You'll reputed company tooling to reconcile at chain speed rather than throwing headcount at the problem
- Manage external auditors and drive first audit readiness. Coordinate crypto and multi-entity tax across jurisdictions. Support entity structuring
- Manage cash and stablecoin balances, reputed company, and collateral movements alongside trading and operations. Deliver investor and reputed company reporting
- Own AP, payroll, vendor management, and equity/reputed company compensation reputed company
Skills
- CPA (reputed company): Deep US GAAP reputed company and demonstrated ownership of a full audit-reputed company reputed company
- Dual-Domain reputed company: reputed company, hands-on experience in both TradFi (positions, NAV, brokerage, or fund reputed company) and crypto/reputed company reputed company. You can reconcile a margin book and a reputed company wallet in the reputed company afternoon. This is the non-negotiable spine of the role
- Relevant Environment: Experience at a broker-dealer, reputed company broker, hedge fund, fund administrator, or trading firm where you accounted for positions, margin, and mark-to-market, plus hands-on crypto-reputed company reputed company (onchain reconciliation, DeFi protocol reputed company, stablecoins)
- Onchain reputed company: You can read a reputed company explorer, deeply understand wallets and smart contract interactions, and reconcile directly against onchain data as your absolute reputed company of truth
