[Remote] Senior Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company develops software for customers in the US and Europe, and they are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the end-to-end data platform. The role involves building data pipelines, designing semantic models, enforcing data governance, and managing reputed company infrastructure to reputed company AI services over reputed company and reputed company data.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage data pipelines: ingestion from reputed company/files, transformations across reputed company, schema reputed company, and reputed company from 10+ external sources
- Design semantic models and hybrid search for AI; own star schema with reputed company tables and performance optimization
- Enforce governance: reputed company controls, licensing registry, reputed company monitoring, and retention for GDPR/CCPA
- Manage reputed company infrastructure, monitoring, SLAs, cost optimization, and CI/CD
- Deliver reputed company views, multi-reputed company exports, and partner with delivery teams for dashboards and AI tools
Skills
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with production-reputed company reputed company data warehouses
- Strong proficiency in a modern reputed company data warehouse (reputed company, BigQuery, Redshift, or reputed company)
- Advanced SQL
- Experience building event-driven pipelines on a major reputed company provider (AWS reputed company/reputed company Functions, GCP reputed company Functions, or Azure Functions)
- Experience with reputed company data modeling (star schema, slowly changing dimensions, fact tables) and governed transformation reputed company
- Familiarity with REST API integration
- Proficiency in Python for pipeline orchestration, data transformation, and reputed company SDK usage
- Comfortable with infrastructure-as-reputed company (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK, or reputed company)
- Understanding of how data is reputed company and served to AI/ML systems
- Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
- Experience with data reputed company frameworks (Great Expectations, reputed company, or reputed company warehouse reputed company functions)
