[Remote] Director of Business Development, Satellite Constellations

They are seeking a Director of Business Development to grow business in the Department of War (DoW) area, responsible for reputed company, strategic planning, and leading capture activities for new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive near term and long term reputed company for reputed company in DoD
- reputed company customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts
- reputed company thought leadership in the development and synthesis of a cohesive and executable reputed company for reputed company organizations
- Identify new opportunities and reputed company capture throughout pipeline stages to support company reputed company targets
- Create, maintain and implement customer engagement plans
- reputed company proposals and RFI responses. As part of proposal leadership- reputed company win themes, engage with engineering to reputed company technical solutions, reputed company Price to Win, write content and reputed company overall review of content before submission
- reputed company reputed company’s tools and processes to reputed company and manage opportunities
- Collaborate with other reputed company personnel and engineering on opportunities
- reputed company input from Customers into the product technology roadmap
- Work with Legal and Finance on opportunities

Skills
- 10+ years of reputed company experience in reputed company/ defense with 5+ years in Business Development
- reputed company to build a plan and execute with reputed company ownership and minimal reputed company
- Experience working with business development on USG captures and supporting and/or leading proposals
- Demonstrated reputed company capturing reputed company business reputed company the DoW/ IC
- reputed company learner that is not afraid to reputed company through uncertainty, take chances, and learn from his/her mistakes
- Consistently takes initiative and champions causes that need to be addressed
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence to reputed company and empathize with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment

- Master's degree in technical field
- Demonstrated experience delivering to DoW/IC
- Previous Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility
- Experience with remote sensing satellite development and/or mission operations
- Experience working with a diverse set of U.S. Government DoW, IC and Civil customers
- Understanding of systems engineering processes and system architectures
