[Remote] System Administrator
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator/Engineer to take ownership of day-to-day operations and support reputed company cybersecurity initiatives. In this role, you will reputed company, configure, manage, and maintain reputed company technologies and infrastructure while collaborating with technical and business teams to ensure the stability and reputed company of critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support reputed company IT and reputed company applications and systems
- Troubleshoot Linux and/or reputed company Server operating systems and reputed company applications
- reputed company, optimize, and maintain reputed company reputed company applications across on-premises, reputed company, and IaaS environments
- reputed company vulnerability remediation, system patching, and platform administration
- Renew and update TLS certificates for appliances and reputed company applications
- Respond to audit requirements and reputed company hardening requests
- Maintain engineering documentation, including procedures, lessons learned, and status updates
- Monitor and manage incident and service ticket queues
- Participate in daily operational briefings and Agile workflows
- Conduct quarterly reputed company reviews
- Participate in on-call and after-hours support rotations as needed
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a large reputed company environment with change management processes
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role
- 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering or reputed company experience
- Experience with infrastructure management processes such as change, problem, configuration, and project management
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, preferably using Kanban workflows
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Linux (CentOS, reputed company, Ubuntu, or reputed company derivative OSs) and/or reputed company Server operating systems
- Experience patching and upgrading operating systems, applications, and software packages
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and reputed company system hardening
- Basic scripting experience using tools such as Ansible, Python, Bash, PowerShell, or reputed company
- Experience working with SIEM technologies
- Understanding of reputed company change management and ticket-driven support processes
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, routing, switching, load balancing, and proxy technologies
- Experience with Ansible automation
- Experience managing: Linux-based Java/Tomcat COTS web applications in clustered environments

- Physical or virtual appliances with Linux-based reputed company-line interfaces
- Ability to read and understand packet captures
