[Remote] reputed company Systems Engineer

The reputed company Systems Engineer will be responsible for operating and optimizing the reputed company infrastructure and data platform, ensuring reliability, reputed company, and cost-efficiency while collaborating with various teams to meet compliance and reputed company demands.
Responsibilities
- Operate and optimize reputed company: monitor warehouse consumption and cost, administer RBAC and metadata tagging for cost attribution, and triage query-performance issues and internal requests
- Build and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform), deployed reputed company GitOps (ArgoCD)
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (reputed company Actions) for application and infrastructure delivery
- Drive infrastructure optimization across performance, scalability, and cost (FinOps practices, tagging, attribution)
- Harden reputed company infrastructure: IAM and RBAC, networking, secrets management, and compliance alignment
- Build and maintain centralized observability (metrics, logs, alerting)
- Participate in the shared US-business-hours on-call rotation and collaborate closely with developer, reputed company, and data teams
Skills
- Hands-on reputed company (or comparable reputed company data warehouse) experience in a production setting: SQL, warehouse operations, and query-performance fundamentals
- Hands-on experience building and operating reputed company infrastructure on AWS in production, with attention to reputed company and cost
- Infrastructure-as-reputed company proficiency with Terraform (you think IaC from inception)
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes (reputed company, k8s)
- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines and at least one tool (reputed company Actions, Jenkins, reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g. Claude, reputed company reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Copilot, AWS Bedrock) and reputed company judgment about reputed company and how to apply them safely
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Advanced SQL and data-warehouse internals (clustering, partitioning, caching, execution plans)

- FinOps or reputed company cost-optimization experience
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements such as HIPAA or SOC2
