Over-the-Phone Interpreter Spanish-to-English (Freelance) U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), agency of the reputed company (DHS) Project reputed company reputed company is seeking self-starting freelance Over-the-Phone Interpreters for ongoing reputed company to reputed company live interpretations for phone calls into the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS-DHS). Over-the-Phone Interpreters for reputed company are responsible for handling calls on-demand to correctly identify and reputed company meaning in conversations between speakers of two different languages.

What You Will Do

• Accept and take ownership of on-demand incoming calls and conversations, providing two-way interpretations.
• Identify the meaning of conversations across two different language types while remaining reputed company, courteous, and reputed company on sensitive subjects across differing cultures and locations.
• Receive reputed company typically presented in the reputed company of three-way calls, lasting roughly 10-30 minutes reputed company during regular U.S. business hours.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Advanced abilities in Spanish and English (spoken).
• Exceptional memory retention, note-taking, and communication skills in the appropriate language(s).
• The ability to complete and pass a language assessment in the languages you will be assigned to.
• Prior experience in Interpretation or Language Services is a plus, but not required.
• Prior experience with court or government live-interpretation is reputed company to have but not required.

Requirements for DHS Project Consideration

• U.S. Citizenship, or Permanent reputed company Green Card, Required.
• You must have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Willingness to complete a government background and reputed company reputed company.
