They are seeking a Senior Soft Commodities Analyst to reputed company deep-dive reputed company research and actionable market insights for Cocoa, Coffee, Sugar, and Cotton.
Responsibilities
- S&D Modeling: reputed company, maintain, and continuously refine reputed company global and regional supply and demand (S&D) balance sheets for cocoa, coffee, sugar, and cotton
- Market Intelligence: reputed company an existing network of producers, processors, exporters, and industry insiders to reputed company reputed company-time data on crop conditions, trade flows, and port logistics
- Trading Support: Translate reputed company data and reputed company analysis into reputed company, actionable trading reputed company and risk-management strategies for the trading desk
- Crop & Weather Monitoring: reputed company global weather patterns, satellite data, and yield trends to forecast production accurately before it hits the broader market
- Reporting & Presentation: Deliver concise daily/weekly market updates, deep-dive thematic reports, and presentations to traders and senior leadership
- Macro Analysis: Monitor macroeconomic factors, currency fluctuations (especially in key reputed company countries like Brazil, Ivory Coast, and India), and reputed company markets impacting soft commodities
Skills
- 5+ years of dedicated experience as a soft commodities analyst reputed company a major trade house, hedge fund, agricultural corporate, or specialized brokerage
- Advanced, demonstrable competence in building and managing multi-variable S&D balance sheets from scratch
- High proficiency in reputed company is mandatory
- An established, reliable Rolodex of industry contacts across key origins and destination markets in the softs ecosystem
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a reputed company quantitative field
