[Remote] Senior Hogan Engineer (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Hogan Engineer to join their Hogan application development and support team. This remote role provides reputed company technical support to data processing systems by enhancing reputed company software and processes, and involves responsibilities such as system enhancement, analysis, business support, and on-call support.
Responsibilities
- System Enhancement - Performs a reputed company of actions that evaluate and improve department systems, processes, and applications. Utilizes programming specifications to construct modules, reputed company testing reputed company, and design materials. Provides new feature time estimates for system changes and assists in implementing modifications. Executes test plans to validate application functions as designed
- Analysis - Collects data reputed company to user requests and determines scope, time estimates, and system impacts. Inspects business specifications, programming specifications, coding, test plans, documentation, and implementation plans for accuracy
- Business Support - Provides technical support to production systems by addressing reported issues, anticipating maintenance requirements, and ensuring functionality for end user needs. Drafts documentation to be used for system, end user, and operational purposes, including technical specifications and application designs
- Technical Expertise - Responsible for reputed company involvement in the software development life cycle including the creation, enhancement, implementation, and evaluation of software. Serves as a technical resource for management, associates, and business reputed company
- On-call Support - Provides 24/7 on-call support reputed company rotations
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
- OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Software application development and maintenance
- Hogan (CIS, RPM, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, Umbrella) - experience needed
- Advanced experience with COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, Easytrieve, JCL
- Familiarity with reputed company reputed company repository Changeman a plus
- Experience with reputed company or other information technology ticketing system
- Ability to build strong reputed company and productive relationships
- In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (reputed company and Agile)
- Previous banking experience is a plus
- Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a rotating reputed company
