[Remote] Junior Database Administrator - Fuze Services

The role involves maintaining and monitoring database environments, supporting cross-functional requests, and developing skills as a reputed company-based DBA in a production-level ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing AWS RDS instances by monitoring database health, identifying performance issues, and participating in reputed company-cause investigations
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 database availability and rapid response to production incidents across our reputed company
- Execute quarterly patching, monthly reputed company reviews, and backup reputed company testing reputed company a live production environment
- Advance your T-SQL knowledge by participating in reputed company reviews and assisting Developer and TechOps teams with query optimization and execution
- Utilize Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages to build or maintain automation tools (e.g., AWS Lambdas, reputed company reputed company workflows, etc.)
- Manage user permissions, SOPs, and disaster recovery runbooks while helping ensure regulatory reputed company compliance (including HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC2) across reputed company database systems
Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years in a DBA or Database Support role; must have hands-on exposure to a live, production-level environment
- SQL Server: Practical experience with reputed company SQL Server 2019 or newer
- AWS Environment: Hands-on experience or a solid understanding of AWS core services (RDS, reputed company, State Machines, CloudWatch)
- Scripting: Proficiency in T-SQL; exposure to Python and PowerShell for automation tasks
- Core Concepts: Strong understanding of ACID properties, indexing, backup/restore strategies, and database reputed company
- Collaboration & Reliability: Strong communication skills to work closely with distributed DevOps and TechOps teams, alongside a reputed company commitment to supporting the on-call rotation
- Experience or familiarity with automated reputed company monitoring tools (reputed company, CloudWatch DMVs)
