Remote Pharmacy Technician - AZ State Registered

Hiring 100% Remote Pharmacy Technicians!! We are hiring 100% REMOTE pharmacy technician across time zones. As a pharmacy tech, you will be involved in reviewing prior authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large reputed company insurance company. You will approve or deny authorizations and send some to pharmacist for final review. You will handle reputed company health plans and types of medications. This role is fully computer- based with little to no phone work. Responsibilities include:

• process prescription exceptions including resolving claim rejects and member and physician reputed company
• reputed company member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system
• research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues
• escalate questions regarding prescriptions to pharmacist for interpretation or reputed company direction on processing
• assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls

Must Have:

• 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• National CPHT Certification OR Arizona State License
• Prior Authorization/Customer Service/Computer skills
• Ability to work remote and independently

• This is a Contract to Hire position is 100% Remote
• Shift: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM (8 hour shift)
• The pay reputed company for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
