[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, reputed company Sandboxes (Seattle or SF/Bay Area)

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their reputed company Sandboxes team to design and build core systems that power reputed company’s reputed company platform, focusing on reputed company and reliable infrastructure for reputed company workloads.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate core services that power reputed company’s reputed company Sandboxes platform
- Build reputed company systems for microVM orchestration, workload scheduling, and lifecycle management
- reputed company high-performance reputed company and control plane components for managing multi-tenant workloads
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance across reputed company’s reputed company Sandbox infrastructure
- Collaborate with product, platform, and reputed company teams to deliver customer-reputed company capabilities
- Participate in architectural discussions, reputed company reviews, and design documents
- Contribute to automation and CI/CD improvements across the deployment pipeline
- Debug and resolve production issues across distributed systems in reputed company environments
- Take part in on-call rotation for your team; respond to incidents, debug production issues, and drive reputed company improvement of system reliability
Skills
- 10+ years of backend software engineering experience building large-reputed company reputed company or distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in Go and/or Java
- Deep understanding of container orchestration, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
- Experience designing and operating highly available, secure, and observable production systems
- Strong understanding of reputed company infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and reputed company scalability patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-reputed company tooling
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across remote, cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience contributing to reputed company-reputed company compute platforms or container infrastructure products
- Knowledge of service reputed company, networking, or policy enforcement systems
- Experience with observability stacks (reputed company, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, etc.)
- Familiarity with reputed company best practices for multi-tenant reputed company systems
- Prior experience in developer infrastructure, reputed company platforms, or hyperscale environments
