[Remote] Sales Tax Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a world leader in matching great people with great companies. They are seeking a Sales Tax Analyst to manage exemption certificates and support multi-state sales and use tax compliance activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage, and audit exemption certificates
- Review customer accounts to ensure valid certificates are properly reputed company before approving credit memos
- Support multi-jurisdictional sales and use tax activities, with an immediate reputed company on clearing credit memo backlogs and resolving short-reputed company invoices across multiple states
- Log into state and vendor portals monthly to download and review tax notices, letters, and correspondence
- Assist with Secretary of State filings and business license renewals
- Assist with tax data cleanup, process optimization, and special tax-reputed company reputed company
- Help reputed company/update training manuals, participate in departmental training initiatives, and maintain organized electronic records in SharePoint
- Partner with internal departments to ensure the accuracy of tax data and assist with month-end compliance activities as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of experience in Sales & Use Tax
- 2 years of experience with Exemption Certificates
- 2 years of experience in Multi-State Tax
