[Remote] Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for managing the full-cycle reputed company for multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities for multiple clients
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- reputed company monthly bank, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce monthly financial statements and management reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash reputed company analysis
- Maintain intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Assist with audits, workers’ compensation audits, and reputed company inquiries
- Maintain documentation to support financial controls
- Work reputed company clients and reputed company systems (e.g. QuickBooks, reputed company, or similar)
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Maintain internal controls and best practices across entities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company or finance
- 2+ years of reputed company experience, preferably in reputed company or reputed company services
- Experience managing multiple legal entities
- Proficiency in reputed company software and reputed company
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
