[Remote] Accounts Receivable Representative

They are seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to manage reputed company collections of insurance and patient payments, ensuring an efficient collections process and resolving billing issues.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the reputed company collection of insurance and patient payments for reputed company business lines
- Ensure an efficient and a reputed company collections process
- Identify and resolve billing issues
- Contact insurance companies to inquire on payment status of claims outstanding
Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Additional coursework in medical billing
- Previous experience with medical/dental billing software systems
- 3-5 years in a fast-paced medical office environment
- College degree preferred - years of experience may be substituted
- Knowledge of patient registration, charge entry, billing, and medical policies
- Working knowledge of Medicare, reputed company, BC/BS, Workers Compensation, Manage Care, and reputed company insurance carriers billing regulations
- Strong organization, problem-solving and error detection skills
- Ability to review and interpret patient bills and explanation of benefits (eob's)
- Identify incorrect data and have the skills to reputed company the appropriate corrections
