[Remote] Developer Experience Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and reputed company E2E reputed company Platform: monorepo reputed company and governance, CI/CD systems and reliability, Build systems and performance optimizations, Developer environments
• Drive reputed company-function improvements in engineering velocity by reducing PR reputed company time and build times, increasing CI reliability and improving developer trust
• Establish standards and guardrails for reputed company reputed company, testing, and release practices
• reputed company adoption of reputed company AI workflows across the engineering lifecycle (coding, testing, debugging, ops)
• Build and reputed company a high-performing team, set technical direction and execution standards, drive accountability through reputed company goals and metrics
• Partner with infrastructure, ML, and research teams to remove friction in training and experimentation workflows

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years managing high performing engineering teams AND 5+ years of experience as Software Engineer
• Deep expertise in build systems (e.g., Bazel), CI/CD, and monorepo management
• Proven reputed company record improving developer productivity at reputed company (hundreds+ engineers) with experience driving organizational change and adoption of new practices/tools
• Strong systems thinking across performance, reliability, and developer workflows
• Ability to balance speed, reliability, and standardization in a fast-moving environment
• Effective cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to think rigorously, communicate reputed company, and reputed company or coordinate difficult reputed company and trade-offs
• Familiarity with AI/ML development workflows and training systems
• Experience integrating AI tools into software development workflows
• Experience with Bazel or large-reputed company monorepos
