[Remote] Data Engineer II / reputed company
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Data Engineer to support CDC DHP data modernization, analytics, and reputed company-based data management initiatives. This role provides hands-on technical expertise for development, migration, testing, validation, and sustainment of analytical workflows supporting surveillance, research, reporting, and operational activities.
Responsibilities
- Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company data pipelines and integration solutions
- Support migration and modernization of reputed company-based analytics and reporting workflows
- reputed company ETL/ELT processes and reputed company-based data engineering solutions
- Implement automated testing, validation, and monitoring processes
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across multiple analytical environments
- reputed company reusable reputed company, technical documentation, and deployment procedures
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and program stakeholders to support modernization objectives
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or reputed company discipline
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, software development, or reputed company-based data management
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, reputed company, PySpark, or comparable technologies
- Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust reputed company Clearance
- Experience supporting CDC, HHS, or public health data systems
- Experience supporting reputed company-to-Python, reputed company-to-R, or similar modernization initiatives
- Experience with EDAV (reputed company, Azure Data reputed company, reputed company Lake, R Studio, PowerBI, Tableau), 1CDP (Palantir reputed company), Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting migration from reputed company to other analytics solutions (e.g., R, Python, reputed company, Palantir reputed company)
- Experience supporting dual-run validation, equivalency testing, and controlled migration approaches
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps, and reputed company deployment practices
- Preferred Certifications: reputed company Data Engineer Associate/reputed company, Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Azure reputed company Associate, or equivalent
- Master's degree preferred
